Hi, my name is Francine Coetzee.

I am a Registered Dietitian in South Africa with a special interest in Women and Children’s health. My passion for infant and children’s nutrition started when I worked at Hull Royal Infirmary Women and Children’s Hospital, United Kingdom back in 2004. In 2006 my husband and I returned to South Africa. Full of enthusiasm and eager to apply what I have learned, I started my own Practice as a Clinical Paediatric Dietitian while raising children of my own. 

The practice took a turn in 2018 when I fell ill and suffered from anaemia, adrenal fatigue, hormone imbalance and an unhealthy nervous system. At first I was so ashamed -how can a Dietitian suffer from the very things she gives nutritional advise about? BUT, during my journey to recovery, the Lord  showed me knew truths about health and wellness and I developed a fresh empathy and grace for women. I learned healthy boundaries and how to take proper care of myself, because if we don’t do that, we cannot take care of our children and families. I used to grab, eat and snack “on the go” but in this process I went through, I truly learned the power and value of a wholesome, “clean”, nutritious meal. Breathing while eating. Nourishing the body with every bite.

To optimally feed and nourish our bodies to be able to carry an unborn gift of life, to breastfeed a newborn baby, to experience and introduce baby’s first solid foods, to pack healthy and exciting lunchboxes for school and provide a healthy, nutritious family meal.
